London Street Food

A friend of ours is thinking about setting up a food truck, so we've spent some time this week thinking about which street food vendors we're really excited to see at events and why. Here are a few of our favourites, and where you can find them....

What: Mind blowingly good ice cream served from the prettiest van we've ever seen.

Why: Do you even have to ask?!

Where: Ginger is based in the North of England but travels all over the place for events. You can track her movements via the events page on the website. You can even try out their amazing recipes for yourself thank to 'Melt' , their very own book!

Best Bit: We've got a very soft spot for the Marmalade On Toast flavour - revelatory

What: A classic Indian street food snack assembled on the spot by the lovely Angus

Why: Probably best explained in the medium of video...

Where: You can track Angus' movements through his Facebook page or via Twitter. Any day that includes Jhal Muri is guaranteed to be a good one.

Best Bit: The first bite. Followed by the next one, and the next one... you get the picture.

What: Genuinely cult-inducing Korean-style fast food.

Why: Combines all the exciting flavours and textures that only Korean food can deliver with the convenience of fast food.

Where: You can track Kimchi cult via their website, Facebook page and Twitter

Best Bit: All of it. We could literally eat everything twice.
